Shining Stars

At all of our Saturday Stars groups children are supported to progress towards their own personal goals within 5 areas: relationships, social skills, independence, confidence and mental health/wellbeing. At the end of each term children receive a star certificate to celebrate their acheivements.

At Shining Stars children express their creativity through drama. They can create and perform their own shows as well as making props, costumes and scripts.

Shining Stars is split into two sub-groups:

Scene Stars: 10am – 11am

Scene Stars is aimed at children new to drama. They will learn performance skills and build confidence expressing themselves.

Stage Stars: 11:15am – 12:15pm

Stage Stars is aimed at children who are more confident to develop their drama skills as they create and perform shows.

You can apply for a place using our online application form.

• Delivery dates: Saturdays in school term-time only.
• Times: Scene Stars 10am – 11am, Stage Stars 11:15am – 12:15pm.
• Venue: Norfolk Lodge, Park Grange Road, Sheffield S2 3QF.
• Cost: £3 per session. This is charged per term and is payable at the start of each new term.
• Suitability: We can not provide 1-2-1 support during this session. If your child requires this, or may need support with personal care, we ask that a parent/carer remains on site for the duration of the session.
• Parent/Carers: Our ‘Parent Carer Room’ is available during this session. Relax and meet other parent/carers of children with additional needs. Refreshments are provided.
