Service Manager Updates…

Referrals are open!

We have spaces on all our Children’s projects and would love to receive applications. Please see below an update on each project and our plans to reopen.

TGIF: Due to start on 9 October

We are really excited to announce that TGIF will be starting again from 9 October. This will be a reduced service, but the team are looking forward to getting the children back and will continue to work hard to get the service running to full capacity. All parents should have now received information about the first session.

We are taking new referrals for the service and we hope to invite children to taster sessions during November.

Any questions can be sent to

Communicate: Due to start on 17 October

We have been busy recruiting a new team to deliver the communicate project, who will be training over the coming weeks. We hope to have the service back up and running on 17 October.

Kelly Daubney, our Children’s Services Manager, will be in touch with all children who currently attend Communicate, our waiting list and new referrals during the week of 5 October.  Keep an eye out on our Meet the Team section, as pictures and bios will be uploaded over the next couple of weeks.

Shine Out on Saturdays (SOS): Due to start mid- late October

Over the lockdown our dedicated and hardworking Nesreen decided to leave the project. It was an incredibly hard decision and she has contacted all families to say a goodbye. This has left a big space to fill. We are currently recruiting for this project and hope to be up and running mid-late October. Kelly Daubney will be in touch with all children who currently attend SOS during the week of 5 October.

Unfortunately, we do not yet have a date to reopen Soundbites, but we are working incredibly hard to get a date organised. One major change is that this project will now run on a Saturday Morning.

Kids Fitness: Due to start 8 October

We are aiming to reopen Kids Fitness on the 8 October – more information to follow.

Shine: Due to start 1 October

Our healthy lifestyle course is starting on the 1 October. Don’t worry, if you want to refer to this project we will be running another course in the new year. Please get in touch for more information.

Short Breaks: Currently running

Short Breaks restarted delivery in August. The team have worked incredibly hard to provide this service after lockdown and it was a great success. We are continuing to run this on Saturdays and throughout half term. You can find more information about accessing this project via the Sheffield city council:
