SDL raise £13,000 for our Diamond Jubilee Appeal!

Local company SDL Sheffield handed over a cheque for almost £13,000 to its chosen charity, Sheffield Mencap, to mark our Diamond Jubilee appeal. The SDL Foundation pledged £10,000 with the Sheffield office contributing the remainder through a range of successful fund-raisers during 2011. Employees held various events ranging from cake bakes, cooking bacon and egg butties for staff, to making hundreds of pancakes.

The cheque was presented to Janet Sullivan and students on The Learning Hub of Sheffield Mencap and Gateway, at Norfolk Lodge on Tuesday 31st January, when we were delighted to host a lovely visit for the wonderful SDL fundraisers!
